Titan Missile Museum

Revisit the Cold War between the United States and the former Soviet Union by paying a visit to the Titan Missile Museum, a preserved Titan II missile site near Tucson, Arizona. Known as complex 571-7, this site is the only one that remains from the original 54 that were on alert across America for 25 years beginning in 1963. Discover multiple tour options that offer insight as to how the United States used the largest operational nuclear warhead ever to deter war.

Rules & Accessibility

It’s required that you wear walking shoes (ladies, no heels) when you visit the Titan Missile Museum. No food or drinks, except for bottled water, are allowed. There is no smoking in the museum or on any of the tours but there is a designated smoking area. Adults must accompany all children 15 years of age and younger. As for accessibility, the Museum is ADA compliant and there are a limited amount of wheelchairs at the Visitor Services Desk.

You’ll have your choice of several different Titan Missile Museum tours, from Crew Tours and Beyond the Blastdoor Tours to Director’s Tours and Titan Top-to-Bottom Tours.   • Is there a gift shop at the Titan Missile Museum?

    The Museum Store is the place to go after your visit for a wide range of Titan II and civil defense memorabilia, such as pocket dosimeters for detecting radiation and Titan II launch key replicas. There are also toys, books, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats for sale.
  • Does the Titan Missile Museum have activities for kids?

    Absolutely. Kids will have an opportunity to become a Junior Missileer. All that’s required is completing the games and activities found in the Junior Missileer Booklet.
